Fine Line Orchid Tattoo
Explore Lake’s fine line orchid tattoo, combining open blossoms, narrow leaves and soft black and grey shading.
The composition
Two open orchid blossoms sit among narrow leaves in this botanical composition. The dark leaves create a backdrop for the lighter flowers, allowing the folds and spotted centres to remain distinct.
Fine outlines and gradual shading describe the flowers without filling every space. The photographs offer different views of the relationship between the blossoms, leaves and surrounding skin.
